Precision Medical was founded by Dr Lai Kah Weng an orthopaedic surgeon, together with his co-founder Dr Tan Mian Yi, a general practitioner. With their 30 years of clinical experience, they have deep insight into current clinical diagnosis methodology and medical treatment modalities. Being innately involved in innovation and enterprise since young, both doctors are now venturing beyond their clinic boundaries to develop medical technology-related products and services.

Precision Medical has successfully obtained a grant from SPRING Singapore, and is currently collaborating with researchers and professionals from various academic institutions.
